Terms of use
Please read these terms of use ("TOU") before you install or start using Kör and the services offered in the app (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you accept these terms of use. If you don't accept these terms, you can not install or use the App.
These terms of use have been updated March 14, 2024.
1. Introduction
1.1 These TOU include an agreement ("the Agreement") between you who install and/or use the App, and Kör AS, a Norwegian privately held company with registration number 823107242 or any of its related companies (collectively named "Kör"). All references in these TOU to "you" or "your" refer to you who install and/or use this App.
1.2 One of the services covered in the App contains booking of driving lessons and required drivers training to obtained a drivers license. The driving lessons may be performed by a third party which Kör has a supplier/customer relationship with.
2. Services in the App
2.1 The App lets you register miles driven as private practice driving, and to book and perform driving lessons, including required driver training.
2.2 The App is for personal use only, and must not be distributed, handed over, or sold to others.
2.3 You are responsible for fulfilling all regulatory requirements for private practice driving.
3. Conducting driving lessons and required training
3.1 Both student and instructor should wait at agreed meeting point for up to 10 minutes after scheduled lesson has started. Delays are sometimes unavoidable due to unexpected traffic, accidents and similar. If you don't show up to an appointment, the appointment will be marked as "no-show", and you will have to pay full price.
3.2 A single lesson lasts for 45 minutes and a double lesson lasts for 90 minutes. All non-required driving lessons are 90 minutes unless agreed otherwise.
3.3 Proof of Basic Traffic Course, or drivers license for another license category (if available) and valid I.D. are required for all driving lessons and for practical driving test.
3.4 Prepaid driving lessons and mandatory training that are part of Kör Basic must be completed within six (6) months from the time of purchase.
3.5 Prepaid driving lessons and mandatory training that are part of Kör Flex must be completed within 12 months from the time of purchase.
4. Payment of driving lessons and required drivers training
4.1 Payment should be conducted before start of every lesson. Secure payment are processed in the App, via payment cards, Vipps and Svea split payment or instalments.
4.2 If you select a student program, the program needs to be paid prior to first lesson in the program. As for lessons not included in the student program, they are booked and pre-paid in App.
4.3 If you pass your practical test with Kör and therefore finish training before all lessons in your program has been used, Kör will refund the amount on your account balance. All refunds are paid before the end of the month following the month where the practical test has been completed.
4.4 If you have purchased the Kör Basic training program, we will plan all 90-minute driving lessons together with you. If you wish to end the training before the driving test has been passed, claims for reimbursement of any unused lessons must be made within 14 days from the time of purchase for the Kör Basic training program.
4.5 If you have purchased the Kör Flex training program and wish to end the training before the driving test has been passed, claims for reimbursement of any unused must be made within 30 days from the time of purchase of the Kör Flex training program. The exception is if you become ill for a long time.
4.6 Our rates for driving lessons are listed on en.koer.no/rates.
5. Rejection of students
If you do not have sufficient driving skills to carry out the practical mandatory training in a meaningful way, the teaching staff must reject you, as described in section 7-3 of the traffic training regulations. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration must be notified of the rejection. If you do not accept the rejection, the question of rejection can be submitted to the Norwegian Road Administration, which makes a decision. The Norwegian Road Administration's decision can be appealed to the Directorate of Roads. In the event of rejection, Kör must inform you of these routines.
6. Cancelling driving lessons and required training
6.1 If you are prevented from showing up at a lesson, you need to notify us as soon as possible. Cancelling a lesson must be done directly in the App.
6.2 The following cancellation deadlines apply to get the classes or courses refunded when these have been booked without a program or with the Kör Flex program:
6.4 Driving lessons and mandatory training as part of the Kör Basic training program and "Happy hour" lessons have a 14-day cancellation period and will not be refunded if they are canceled less than 14 days before the scheduled time.
7. Installation and technical equipment
7.1 To use the services in the App, you need to download and install the App on a mobile phone, a tablet or other compatible system.
7.2You must acquire, update and maintain the necessary equipment and software to use the App, including but not limited to email address, internet subscription, mobile subscription and SMS features.
7.3 You must also show normal care and protect your technical equipment against the use of unauthorized persons.
8. Mobile data
8.1 You are responsible for all subscriptions, services and charges from your mobile carrier that are required to use the App, including any data subscription costs, fees for telephone numbers, SMS charges, other call charges, roaming charges, or other telephone or data connection fees. Charges for standard messaging services and other fees may apply when using some features of the App.
9. Processing of personal data
9.1 Kör complies with applicable law at all times when processing your personal data. More information about Kör's processing of personal data related to the App can be found in the document "Privacy and Cookies" which you can access via the App and on https://en.koer.no/privacy-policy
10. Secure and legal use of the service
10.1 You are responsible for your use of the App and your equipment, and you agree to comply with the following when using the App:

11.1 You agree to the following:
12. Sharing information in Kör profile to third-party providers
12.1 When ordering / booking driving lessons and other required traffic training, we will share your information with the traffic teacher who will conduct the driving lesson. This is done so that the traffic instructor will see your information in advance of the driving lesson or the required training. This third-party provider becomes independently responsible for the information shared with them. This means that the third-party provider is responsible for its further processing of your information and determines the purpose of the processing.
13. Terms of Use of the App
13.1 Provided that you comply with the terms of the Agreement, you are hereby granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to: (i) download or otherwise install the App to your Equipment, and (ii) use the App ( in object code form) on the equipment to access and use the App.
13.2 Except for the limited right expressly granted here, Kör or its suppliers own all rights to the App, including, but not limited to, all associated intellectual property rights.
13.3 You agree not to do any of the following:
14. Liability and limitation of liability
14.1 Kör's liability to you is limited to what is stated in the Agreement and what is stipulated in accordance with applicable law.
14.2 To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kör, its licensors and suppliers shall not under any circumstances be responsible for your use of the App, or the decisions or actions taken by you or anyone else based on information provided by the App. You have all and full responsibility and risk for your use of the App.
14.3 Kör, Kör's suppliers or third parties Kör cooperates with, has no liability to you for any damage or loss you suffer as a result of the App not meeting your expectations or your use of the App.
14.4 The App is provided as is, and you are responsible for your use of the App and the equipment, software and other equipment required to use and access the App. Kör, Kör's suppliers or third parties Kör cooperates with to deliver the App to you, shall not be liable for any damage resulting from your failure to comply with your obligations under the Agreement or Kör's instructions, or if you have not complied with the terms and conditions applicable to the individual mobile app store where the customer accesses the App (such as Google Play and Apple Appstore).
14.5 Kör makes no warranties and disclaims all express, implied or statutory warranties, including warranties such as quality, ownership, non-infringement of third party rights, the App's general fitness for use, or the App's fitness for a particular purpose.
14.6 Occasional interruptions in the App due to factors beyond Kör's control may occur from time to time. This includes mobile phone coverage or ongoing maintenance of the App. Kör will take reasonable measures to try to limit or prevent such incidents, but shall under no circumstances be liable for financial or other damages resulting from such disruptions.
14.7 You are responsible for protecting all information created or stored through the App against any loss, misuse, alteration or accidental interruption.
14.8 Kör shall take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, alteration or accidental interruption, but makes no representations or warranties as to the security of the App and the transfer of data or information to and from Kör and your equipment.
14.9 Kör is not responsible for damage caused by Norwegian or foreign legal provisions, Norwegian or foreign government measures, war events, strikes, blockades, boycotts, lockouts, pandemics or similar circumstances. The reservation regarding strikes, blockades, boycotts and lockouts and pandemics applies even if Kör is exposed to or takes such conflict measures. Kör is also exempt from liability if Kör, possibly Kör's subcontractors, fails to fulfill its obligations if the failure is due to circumstances that hinder or significantly impede fulfillment in a timely manner, for example by electronic information processing and transmission or system technical problems, and thus beyond the parties' reasonable control. Kör disclaims any responsibility for any deletion or failure to transmit information.
14.10 If an injury occurs, both you and Kör have an obligation to take reasonable measures to limit the damage. If either party fails to do so, compensation may be reduced accordingly.
14.11 You are liable to indemnify Kör for any damage to Kör as a result of using the App, for example, if your use causes interruptions, interruptions or damage. You are responsible for any damage or loss that may affect Kör, a third party or yourself as a result of your failure to comply with the above obligations.
15. Changes and Amendments
15.1 Kör reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at any time. If Kör's changes to the Terms of Use are not acceptable to you, you have the right to terminate the Agreement immediately and free of charge at the latest on the day before the date on which the change in question comes into force. If you do not terminate the Agreement pursuant to this paragraph within the specified time, you are deemed to have approved the applicable changes. Changes that benefit you will take effect immediately.
16. Termination
16.1 Upon termination of this Agreement, Kör will terminate or suspend your access to the App.
16.2 Kör reserves the right to terminate the Agreement at any time.
16.3 You can terminate the Agreement at any time by removing the App from the Equipment.
17. Applicable laws
17.1 The agreement shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with Norwegian law.
17.2 Disputes regarding interpretation and enforcement of the agreement shall be settled by Norwegian courts.
18. Miscellaneous
18.1 The Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Kör and you with respect to the App.
18.2 If a provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, the provision shall be amended to reflect the intentions of the Parties, and all other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
18.3 Kör has the right to hand over the Agreement to a subsidiary in the group to which Kör belongs.
18.4 By using the App, you consent to the communication between you and Kör regarding the App taking place electronically. Kör can make such messages available via email or by publishing the messages in the App. If you wish to withdraw your consent to receive messages electronically, you must cancel your use of the App.
18.5 If you have any questions about these Terms of Use, please contact Kör using the contact methods available in the App.
19. Third-party vendors
19.1 Kör uses third-party vendors for the development and delivery of the App, analysis of the use of the App and communication between Kör and you, and communication between traffic instructor and you.
19.2. Kör can also use third-party service providers to complete traffic training, including, but not limited to, driving lessons and required training.

- First aid course: 36 hours
- Safety course on track: 72 hours
- 411 Risks involved in driving: 36 hours
- 412 Driving on country roads: 72 hours
- 413 Final driving in traffic: 72 hours
- 414 Reflection and summary: 36 hours
- Practical test: 36 hours
- Basic traffic course: 72 hours
6.4 Driving lessons and mandatory training as part of the Kör Basic training program and "Happy hour" lessons have a 14-day cancellation period and will not be refunded if they are canceled less than 14 days before the scheduled time.

10. Secure and legal use of the service
10.1 You are responsible for your use of the App and your equipment, and you agree to comply with the following when using the App:
- Follow all traffic rules and otherwise drive safely.
- Do not use the App for any unlawful, unauthorized, unsafe, dangerous or illegal purpose or in any way inconsistent with the Agreement.
- Place all equipment and wiring for use of the App in a safe place in the car so that it does not interfere with driving, causing damage when braking or preventing the use of safety devices (eg airbags).
- Follow all traffic rules and otherwise drive safely.
- Do not use the App for any unlawful, unauthorized, unsafe, dangerous or illegal purpose or in any way inconsistent with the Agreement.
- Place all equipment and wiring for use of the App in a safe place in the car so that it does not interfere with driving, causing damage when braking or preventing the use of safety devices (eg airbags).
11. Account information and Kör profile
11.1 You agree to the following:
- To provide Kör with correct and complete information about yourself on request when you register and create a Kör profile for use of the App.
- To inform Kör of all changes to this information so that they are kept accurate and complete at all times.
12. Sharing information in Kör profile to third-party providers
12.1 When ordering / booking driving lessons and other required traffic training, we will share your information with the traffic teacher who will conduct the driving lesson. This is done so that the traffic instructor will see your information in advance of the driving lesson or the required training. This third-party provider becomes independently responsible for the information shared with them. This means that the third-party provider is responsible for its further processing of your information and determines the purpose of the processing.
13. Terms of Use of the App
13.1 Provided that you comply with the terms of the Agreement, you are hereby granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to: (i) download or otherwise install the App to your Equipment, and (ii) use the App ( in object code form) on the equipment to access and use the App.
13.2 Except for the limited right expressly granted here, Kör or its suppliers own all rights to the App, including, but not limited to, all associated intellectual property rights.
13.3 You agree not to do any of the following:
- Recreate, decompile, divide or otherwise disassemble, translate, modify, modify or otherwise modify the App or any part of it.
- Reproduce, copy, print, publish, distribute or otherwise transfer information from the App for any purpose other than purely personal purposes.
- Download or store information other than your personal information from the App.
- Store or reuse information from the App to create or develop a database that uses information from the App.
- Use the App to receive or transmit illegal or infringing information or content or information that is an illegal copy of third-party information.
- Remove or modify any of Körs or its suppliers' trademarks, trade names, logos, patents or copyrights or other messages or marks appearing in the App.
- Sell, distribute, license or otherwise transfer the App to a third party.
- Using the App for commercial purposes
14. Liability and limitation of liability
14.1 Kör's liability to you is limited to what is stated in the Agreement and what is stipulated in accordance with applicable law.
