End-of-step 3 assessment
Lesson 60 min
End-of-step 3 assessment is a mandatory step on the way to the driver’s license. You and the traffic instructor assess whether you are ready to go to the next step in the training (Step 4). The lesson includes a discussion before and after the practical driving.

The student must drive clearly, safely and independently in varied traffic.
Throughout the step, the student should discuss their own motivation and willingness to apply knowledge and skills acquired through the step. The student must assess their own ability to drive in good interaction with others.

Now that you have completed step 3, you should be able to:
- Explain the traffic system, road user groups and conflicts of interest
- Explain roads, road markings, signs and other traffic regulations
- Explain clear, safe and efficient behavior in traffic in various road environments, including driving in a tunnel, and the rules that apply to driving a car
- Use systematic and automated information retrieval
- Master driving clearly, safely and efficiently in homes, towns and urban environments
- Master driving clearly, safely and efficiently in a road environment and anticipate, perceive and counteract the risk of meeting and descent accidents, to be overtaken and drive past
- Master driving clearly, safely and efficiently in conjunction with queues, tunnels and in the dark
- Master driving efficiently and comfortably, environmentally friendly and economically in a varied traffic environment in good interaction with other drivers.
